Recent Lore Edits to Core Rulebook

Each archtype has a lore page now, which includes the Sacred Charter for that Archtype, granted by the Knights of the Immutable and the Council of Seven. The Core Rulebook also includes a timeline, summarizing the events that lead to the need for galactic exploration.

Diplomacy and Politics Additions

The Core Rulebook now includes a special kind of NPC called a Representative. These can help GMs drive the story in a RPG that does not (generally) have combat.

The Representatives are about to vote on a matter of great importance for the colony or expedition.

Each representative has Boons and Banes which players can use to gain Favor. At certain Favor levels the representative will open Gates (allowing expedition on parts of the planet they control), grant patronage or sell wares.

Most importantly each Representative has a vote condition - players need to fulfill that condition to impact how the Representative votes.

A campaign can easily be designed around three representatives giving players three Vote Conditions to pursue as they collect resources, evidence and other mcguffins during their exploration of the planet.

Sisters of Saturn’s Solace

There are now 8 archtypes, with the Sisters of Saturn’s Solace being a counterpart to the standard Chemistry Professor. Unlike the Chemistry Professor, they cannot tame Bots (vow of Poverty) but they can tame additional living Pets. They also have some healing capabilities.

Lore wise the Sisters Train to go to the Blood Stain Worlds, near the edge of the Iris Black Hole. There the Arcane Eye Cult would engage in human sacrifice - and lock away knowledge. The Sisters train and purify themselves to explore these hellscapes and bring back knowledge for the Council of Seven.
