Art Direction Update

Hey all - apologies if this is too many dev logs in a 4-day period, but had one more thing to add that is of some importance.

After consulting with some of my most trusted GMs / playtesters, the call has been made to **pull all NightCafe Images. **

Part of this is to ensure that all the images in the rulebook have a tonal consistency. Part of this is because of this article ( https://gizmodo.com/ai-art-generators-ai-copyright-stable-diffusion-1850060656 ) being the straw that finally allows my internal debate on AI to shift in a new direction.

What does this mean?

I’ve pulled AI images from the book and January release (this eliminated much of the tokens). So until I can build up a new set image assets, the book has less images than before. I hope to release a new version of the book, overhauled from a Graphic Design point by April.

Some of my cartoons are being used as image place holders right now - I suspect the final product will be all Photoshop/Unsplash to ensure consistency. But the redesign is just starting.

It is possible that I missed an AI image as I am running to a “real world” commitment right now. If so, that image will be struck by this weekend the latest.

Not Looking for Debate Here

Am aware that ppl reading this will have a wide range of views. Not looking for a debate in this forum - I am merely reporting the artistic direction this project is taking (namely not using AI).
