Horizon Framework Playtest
Complexity or Simplicity
On my blog I discuss Rules-Lite vs Complex systems and how sometimes, simplicity only leads to more complexity. I then discuss the direction the potion-making system of Under a Hostile Sun may go. Be sure to check that out!
The Horizon Framework
Hey all - This update perhaps is only indirectly related to Under a Hostile Sun but wanted to share that I was able to participate in a playtest for The Horizon Framework, associated with Grim Press.
(I am not associated with Grim Press or anyone else, I was just lucky enough to be a playtester)
While not related to this project, directly, every playtest I participate in, every new system I learn helps clarify for me what works and what doesn’t in tabletop RPGs. Which in turn makes Under a Hostile Sun better.
Be sure to check out the playtest here as well as the free online ruleset.
